I’m an Austin-based mom, quilter, feminist, food writer, co-parent, ukulele player, tarot card reader and future ancestor.
As a journalist with more than 20 years experience under my belt, I do all kinds of things I never imagined I’d get to do when I was a kid growing up in Southwest Missouri!
I’ve lived abroad, co-written a cookbook, underwent a fashion makeover on “What Not to Wear,” learned how to co-parent and so much more.
For the past 12 years, I’ve been a food writer at the Austin American-Statesman. I also do freelance work, including a paid newsletter and an in-the-works podcast.
